door actuator removal help?

door actuator removal help?

I am trying to replace my door actuator does anyone know how to remove the old one in the passenger door? I found how to install a $5 one but how do I replace the factory one?

first.. you have to buy the actuator from Tony at Riverside Infiniti.. the cheapest around...
second.. there is a DIY on how to take off the door panel..
3rd.. I think if you search enough, you will find a DIY on the whole project... i just downloaded a copy of the FSM and found out how to remove it..
you have to remove the whole mechanism.. it is a bitch.. whatever side you take out, you have to take off the door handle as well.. the trickiest part is when you have to remove a rubber grommet in the door jam closet to the handle ,exposing a STAR head screw... other than that.. and having to remove cables... the window must come completely out and the track falls inside the door.. just remember how it all goes and also.. make sure the window is rolled all the way down, or someone hold it, so when it the track falls it doesn't break..
2 people make this install/removal much much easier.. i just did my passenger side a few months ago.. took about an hour...
