06 G35 sedan w Elite Extended warranty - power seat issue

Just a quick question...I did a search btw.

Well my driver power seat motors or something took a dump.

it doesnt slide forward or back anymore. it seems like the gear/slide toward the center console doesnt slide anymore.

anyway, have any of you had bad luck with getting this covered under warranty?

my car has 63xxx miles and has an extended elite warranty.

thanks in advance!

for future reference, glendale infiniti covered this under warranty.

they replaced the full rail/motor assembly. its a common issue.

And if someone searches and finds this thread, Going here:

http://www.odometergears.com/infiniti.html

got me the piece I needed (NOT the entire rail assembly).

This fixed the exact same issue for usnder $70.

oh that reminds me, the service writer said that it was both the gear AND a spot weld on the rail itself that failed.

either way, thanks for the link to the gears.
