Have the code read, then post what it says.

I've had the ABS, SLIP and VDC Light come on all at once.. where I lose use of my ABS brakes and my traction control.... It sucks when it happens in the winter... gets dangerous driving in snow fast!

Chances are you have a flaky sensor but I'd take it in (Nissan) and have them find out why you're getting the warning. You can erase the Service Engine Soon by removing the negative side of the battery for a short while but that won't solve the error code issue and why you're getting it.

Same thing happened to me couple weeks ago. Took it to Nissan dealership to get it fixed. Turned out I had a bad sensor which had to be replaced, which ran me about $350. I called Infiniti about it and they were quoting me around $450+ if I remember correctly.

Mine did it....I pulled the code and it was the cam sensor. I bought both for $80 and about an hour to replace total.

Pull the code and see what it is.

This samething just happened on my 06 5AT Coupe. I had the slip, ABS, and VDC lights come on however the ABS system stayed on even after the vehicle was turned off. It was covered by my extended warranty and the problem was the VDC relay went bad. The part was $789 through Nissan + 2.5 hrs labor. Hope this helps anyone. It seems the trifecta of lights signals a number of potentially serious issues that revolve around the braking and traction control systems.

The ABS, VDC Off, Slip, and AWD lights on my 2004 G35x sedan are lit up. I called Infiniti and was told it is most likely in need of more fluid and/or brake pads. Unlike skiss12, the ABS light goes away when the engine is turned off. Anyone else with an AWD experience this?

UPDATE: Checked my brake fluid level and it is okay. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. The dealer quoted me $360 for front brake pads.

I had that problem a while back on my 04 coupe AT. Check out the fuse box next to your gas pedal. Make sure these fuses are a good or in the right place. I found a bad fuse, replace and problem gone.

dealers ALWAYS charge so high, try Nissan Dealer (they would likely ask for VIN) for parts or Autozone, Pepboys for brake parts. The best parts of these stores are half prices from the dealer and their quality is not bad, depends on what brand you chose.

Thanks for the replies. They still have my car so I haven't had a chance to check the fuses. My local mechanic checked the brakes and found that they were okay. I had my LF wheel bearing replaced roughly three weeks ago. He said it appears that when the dealership did that they damaged the "ring gear?". He said they could not order that part on its own, so they would have to replace the axle. He is having trouble finding one [axle] from sources other than a dealer. Does anyone know how much this service typically runs? They are looking to see if they can get away with not ordering the part. No word from them yet.
