Air bag light stuck on solid , no flash

So in my other post I have been working on this issue for a bit...
( yes I have searched, yes I have read the shop manual... )

This morning....
So fuses 13 & 14 are good...
Swapped a " known good " used air bag computer ( no effect ) .

Yesterday, we repaired the clock spring melted connectors & put in the air bag, Installed the passenger side air bag & had the front seatbelts rebuilt..

( these were all know bad from the accident )

So is there any aftermarket software that will emulate the consult II air bag test functions?

Any one have any additional thoughts ( short of taking it to the dealer ) .

Anyone have 1st hand experience repairing SRS systems?

Help??

$270.00

( doing more research )

Another thought.. the car had some after market alarm installed, wondering if they F' ED up the system.....

I may have to do a bit of probing about with the system live...
( just for main power, ground & the control line for the dash light....)
AFTER I disconnect all the bags......

OK simple fix!

All the wiring checked out, I did get another module from Speck... but it was NFG... but Speck was a stand up guy about it & gave me a full refund...

So I ordered a *good* air bag computer from My airbags.com...
Plugged it in ( after the battery disconnect & wait 3 minutes ) .. and BADA BING

no more air bag light!!!

YEAAH!

The Bad news... the mail delivery yesterday was @ 2:45..... and the CHP dude leaves @ 3:00....so there was no way I could have fixed it & got there in time, so I wait till monday for the 5 min inspection.. the off to DMV to finish the title flip!

So case closed here!
