Exclamation Very choppy tires

I big problem on my 2005 G35 Coupe thats bugging me a lot is my tires. The tires are only a few thousand miles old. (Hankook Tires) I have this on and off vibrations going on in my car at speeds pass 60 and plus.

I went to the Kelly Infiniti Dealer(Chattanooga) and asked them why does my car has on and off vibrating at high speeds? They told me that my tires for some reason are very choppy. I asked them are they any reasons how the tires get choppy? They really did not give me a clear answer why they are choppy and just said it just happens occasionally.

Im not really sure what the real problem is. Ive been searching and discovered it could be:

Suspensions
Struts/Shocks

I need a clear explanation how my tires are very choppy.

I DO NOT WANT TO REPLACE MY TIRES BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE THE SAME PROBLEM.

If anyone else is having this please post and what did you do to fix it. Thanks.

could be anything. you might have to go to a suspension shop. Mine told me that my shocks were going bad. which was true because after 5-6 years, my car started sitting lower. lol

Have your inner lower control arm bushings checked out.

My front struts and inner LCA bushings went bad about the same time, and caused excessive feathering AND inner wheel edge wear on my tires. Replaced both, and the feathering has pretty much gone away.

My compression rod bushings are on their way out too, now, though. So those are next on the list.

It could be a variety of different things, so I would take it to a dedicated alignment/suspension shop.

I really do not know anything about those much. I prolly have to take it to a good suspension shop in order to figure out whats gone bad and needs to be replaced. Im surprised that this is the first car I had this problem with. Hopefully the new infiniti g37s dont have these problems.

Choppy/cupped tires don't make noise only sometimes, or on and off...the noise will always be there. Get your car inspected properly by a qualified tech. Could be something totally different than what you think...

when i drive my car 100mph i defiantly hear and feel crazy vibrations going on in my car. I feel like my car's axles are about to break.

If you're getting vibrations I'd check the wheel balance, and if they haven't been balanced go to a shop that has a Hunter Road Force balancer.

100MPH is pretty fast though...
