I've have a 05 g35x sedan and the car won't start. she has about 125000 km on it. what happened was i was driving home after dinner and the car was fine. parked outside my house for few house and it won't start. it made those ticking noise when i first tried to turned the car on. the next morning I've tried to start it again and the ticking noise is gone and still won't start. so i've decided to give it a jump but nothing happened. next i took the battery off the car and give it a charge using those battery charger. after it was completely charged i've put it in the car and try to start it and the ticking sounds came back. on the dash board there was only the e brake light and the battery light on. decided to put a new battery in the car and now the service engine light is on. and it flashed 3-4 times. and stay on. she still doesn't start with no clicking noise. have anyone encounter this problem? i was told it could the the cam position sensor.

 

If it won't start it's usually the starter...

 

Since you have a service engine light you should scan it for codes. Multiples clicking sound then it the battery, one click or no click at all it the starter. Could also be your cams and crank sensors.

 

now there's no click... i got a scanner from my civic days but it won't read the codes

 

any updates.... put in a new battery and about an hour ago and tired to started just now and she is completely dead... i have the both front door lights blinking like crazy and there is clicking.... what could be wrong....

 

the new battery is completely drained in about an hr....

 

could it be the immobilizer since i have the battery out for so long?
