So both of my seats power recliners had stopped working at incredibly uncomfortable positions. Keep in mind that my forward backward switch/motors worked well. So I decided to pull the seats and check them out. I determined that on the passenger seat the motor was fried but the drivers side seemed good as well as the switch. I manually reclined both seats by disconnecting the motors and turned the gears with a screwdriver but this is only a temporary solution. Well when I put the seats back in, for some reason my drivers side now wont go forward/backward. I pulled the seat again to check all of my clips and connectors but there was no problem to be found, any other suggestions before I take it to a dealership and spend a fortune just to have them tell me I need an entirely new seat.
