After smashing into a ditch culvert at 130 mph in my 2008 Subaru Legacy, the hunt for a new car was on. I came across a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan. Ive always loved them, and scooped it up. White, tan interior with wood grain, Bose and the ugly black trim around the bottom... Pretty standard stuff.

After browsing around Ive started to make a list of the things that I would like to do. I would love some feedback, opinions, and pictures of similar things done you your G series!

Exterior:
Paint the black trim to color match
G37 10 spoke 19" wheels and tires. Love that clean look.
350Z Springs with stock shocks. Want a mild drop to look good with the wheels.

Interior:
12" Alpine Type E (already have) in custom fit box from subthump.com Ive had a subthump box before and really liked it.
20% tint on everything but the windshield.
JDM double din kit with monitor and steering wheel control adapter.

No engine mods really planned just yet. Don't have the $$$ for all that right now.
Not sure what DD I want to go with. I really want something without a whole lot of buttons or ***** and has a flush mount. Still new to a lot of the tech lingo used around here, so bare with me. Hope I can get some good opinions and help. Thanks in advance!

 

Painting the black strip on first gen sedans body color is a very good first step. G37 Coupe wheels are a good idea and will look great! Springs, Tein 350Z H-Techs will give you just over an inch drop in front and 3/4" out back. When you get the alignment done ask the mechanic if you're at OE specs. If not, before you wear out your tires you'll need a camber kit front and rear. Nothing looks better than tint on a IP coupe or sedan! A JDM double din will work well with your Alpine. Glad to hear that you agree with most of the ideas that I have in mind. I looked into the STechs, would they be a good option as well?

What are the best engine mods that give you the most bang for the buck without going from NA to FI?
One of the nice things about having a Silverado was you spent $250 on a CAI and BAM! +10 HP. haha.

 

Whats the running price for new HID bulbs for the lows? and whats the closest color temp. to match the highs/fogs to them? 5000K?
