No battery, need to open trunk asap

...So, my G was greeting me when I got back from a long winter vacation. It has completely drained out battery. My questions are:

1). How do you pop open hood?
2). Is there anyway I can open trunk without having a new battery in? I need my text book from the trunk asap.

In my 2004 sedan it is a clip where the window meets the trunk that I can pull and open the trunk since the same thing happened to me.

Coupe or sedan? Coupe there's a release in the back seat that drops the seat allowing access to the trunk where you can pull the emergency release. For the sedan blk35 already answered

Do you have a key to the car? Mechanical key doesn't need power. Hood release (from inside) doesn't need power. Sedan also has a pull-type trunk release reachable (from inside) through the pass-through in the back seat...
