03 coupe window doesnt go all the way down
03 coupe window doesnt go all the way down
I bought my g, a week ago. neither window worked. I put a new motor in drivers side, and did the reset procedure, But now the window goes down but it sticks up about an inch or, I swapped a whole motor, regulator and panel from a 350z. what could be wrong?
no I actually did it about 4 times, everything functions as it should I think. it goes up and down just fine, it closes all the way, when the door shuts it moves about a quarter inch or so, which I am told is normal. it just will not goo all the way down into the door, sticks up an inch or so.
Damn, idk, Maybe its because you swapped the entire motor, regulator and panel from a Z thats causing this. Try just swapping the motor with the original G panel. Other than that all I can think of is the motor itself has a problem. I did a couple motor swaps, although not from a Z & never ran into any of this.
I installed everything because I just got the car and didn't know the condition of all the parts and what exactly was wrong. My friend had the whole setup and I knew it was all in working condition. I think I'll take my old panel and regulator and swap the motor over and see what that does, And yes does it all the time. Either using the auto up and down button or doing manually. I've tried search. Lots of threads. But none I found where window leaves one inch of window still up. I'm lost. Ill swap motor onto my original panel and regulator and see what that does tomorrow
Ok. In case anyone was wondering. I reinstalled my g35 regulator and panel. With the 350z motor and window now goes all the way down. So I don't know if the z regulator was messed up or if it is just not fully compatable with the g35. But anyways. All is well now.
