Low idle when I come to a stop light??

I just recently changed out my valve covers and noticed when driving around it drove fine. Every time it came to a stop light my engine idle would go down to almost no rpm? What could this be. At the same time I had changed out some hoses. Could it be a poor connection or vacuum leak to cause this?

Sounds like vacuum leak, can you get a gauge to see? Is it throwing any codes?

No codes, drives fine. I found the hose that connects from the back of the valve cover to air ztube and the clamp is brow but the hose pushed all the way up. Do you think it would cause to act like it wants to die from that??

Just noticed when I lean on the plenum it runs better. And it's quiet. Is there a special way to tighten the center bolts on the plenum?

100 in-lbs of torque is the recommendation with the aftermarket plenum spacer install.

Its about the equivalent of snug when using a 6-in ratcheting wrench.
