The Helpful Tips and Tricks Thread

Starting a thread for general automotive tips and tricks. These can be any random tips that help make life easier for people who like working on cars. These can be specific to the G or just generic tips for all cars. I'll start with the first one:

If you have an open oil drain bucket that you empty into a bigger container after your oil change, I like to use a silicone cooking spatula to scrape out every bit of oil from the drain pan. Makes clean up much less messy.

Also works to get most of the oil out of your funnel.

Trick#2
If you drive a G35, especially a revup one, enjoy the journey with a quart of motor oil riding shotgun in the worthless cupholder
