Cat converter

I just got stationed here in SC, apparently its legal here to not have a cat converter. I was about to buy an exhaust, but I was talking to people who said it'd be better to just remove the cat for $30 cause it'd give more horsepower and sound than a $600 exhaust. Any suggestions or advice would help, thanks

These are caled "test pipes" which are for off-road use only. Best ones hands down are the Motordyne ART Pipes. Fast intentions will get you the sound you want...!

stop talking to those people.
Look for an aftermarket exhaust to eventually pair with test pipes or hfc

Go their route and you're setting yourself up for a CEL and a rasp nightmare

Some people, like me, just like stock exhaust sound the best tho. Test pipes are nice, but very loud
