Pretty general question guys, my trunk will not open. I have gotten into the trunk from the red strap behind the rear seats and the Emergency Release does open up my trunk. However the key fob and the switch next to the steering wheel does not open the trunk. Any ideas???

 

Check the switch in the glove compartment

 

I didnt know there was a switch in the glovebox.

Lmao I wasn't aware of that button either but yes it is on. Still nothing though.

 

You've been fortunate to join the club of those that have ripped wires in the passenger side pinch connector of the trunk to rear deck area. I had four wires torn in this area.... This is a problem with many, many G35s and everyone should be expected to fix it within 10 years same issue on my sedan.
