I have searched all over the threads. I cant find the answer. I have a 2005 inifiniti g35 coupe. Yesterday we had tons of rain, and i had to make a drive home from work in it. Thats the last time it started. This may not be a factor though. The battery is old, i know that. A few times over the past few months it hasnt started, i pop the hood, wack the battery a couple times/ the connections, and it starts right up. I went to start it this morning, lights come on, unlocking/locking with the FOB works, but there is no click (that i could hear) and no start. before I drop the money on a new battery, does this sound like it would fix it? I would hate to spend a hundred bucks on something that isnt urgent, as money is tight, when it could be my starter or something. Basically, what can i eliminate or check ahead of time before replacing anything or towing it to a shop? Thanks Gs!!

P.S. I cleaned the connections and tightened them, Nada.

 

Did you try jump starting it?
