Trunk wasn't opening yesterday from the dash button or remote.
So decide to pull the red rope to drop the seats then on the 1st attempt to pull the emergency rope for the trunk droke and it didn't open!!
Now what to do?

Gonna seems dumb but - check the disable switch in the glove box first. Fuses next. Get the manual called "bl.pdf" from here:

More manuals available there if you need. For instance Power and Ground (and harnesses) "pg.pdf".
Any chance of grabbing the emergency release cable with a pliers or did it break near the actuator?

 

Switch in glovebox is on!
Can't get to the rope/wire/harness or what's left of because I have a sub.
Could it be a fuse or relay? And ideas which in it is?
I'm hoping it's not the harness?

 

It's the harness in between the trunk and the rear deck 90% likely some negative wires sheared across. You have to get to it... Worst case on top of the rear seat deck that plastic piece pulled up will open the trunk.
