Airbag Light After Recall, Pulling The Code
Airbag Light After Recall, Pulling The Code
Hey guys,
My sister's 03 G35 has had the airbag light on eversince she did her airbag recall years ago. Life got in the way and she never went back to the dealership to get it fixed. I've tried figuring this out and came across this video where the guy cut the zip ties that were installed and he snapped the connector in and out a few times and it fixed his airbag light. I did the same and the light went away for some time after doing the driver side. After the light came back, I then proceeded to do the same for the passenger side and it went away only to come back again.
At this point, it be worthwhile figuring out what the code is and short of the going to the dealership where the airbag recall was done (which was in San Diego), I was hoping someone in the Los Angeles area can help with scanning the code.
Is there anyone in the LA area that can help with pulling the code please?
Thank you all in advance.

Try the diagnostic found in post #3 to help point you in the right direction: https://www.6mt.net/threads/help-wit...ic-code.35812/
I could be wrong, but I don't think airbag codes pop up in OBD II scanners. Couldn't hurt to go to an Autozone/Pep Boys/O'Reilly's and use their OBD II scan tool if you don't have one yourself.
