ok I hope this isn't a stupid question... my factory **** has a button to change the gears im guessing there no more button .... it just automatically moves between them..?

Not a dumb question, it gets asked a lot. There is an internal spring so you push the **** down to engage the shifter.

Brushed aluminum would probably look best IMO because it would match the trim. But if you want more black in your car then go with the Black Anodized Aluminum.
