Does anyone know which refinery (Tersoro or Chevron) Shell, Aloha, and 76 get their gas from? If you saw the article in the Honolulu Advertiser on Friday (http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/ar...05190358.html), Tersoro is producing ethanol gas the doesn't exactly meet industry standards. Knowing this, I'd rather get gas from Chervon stations or from other stations getting their gas from the Chervon refinery here. Which stations does Chervon refinery supply? Thanks!

 

When I used to work at this repair shop a couple of years back, we would have our fuel delivered from a local petroleum delivery company. According to them, they would get their fuel from Tesoro. But, the local Union 76 stations would also get their gas from Tesoro. However Shell would get their gas from Chevron. Aloha is a little different, they would not go through neither Chevron nor Tesoro, but import their own fuel, (i assume already refined ready for consumers) and they would also supply Costco.

my girlfriends dad owns 2 chevron stations on the windward side. I'll ask him about this at Sunday dinner....

 

i dunno...i heard techron not good for FI's....so i hardly go chevron. plus i chang...with a westside clan.

 

What would not be "not good?"
