I know this has nothing to do with a G but I was wondering if anyone knows someone selling a 85-87 Toyota Corolla GT-S by any chance? In good-excellent running condition is preferred. also preferrably a hatch. If anyone does please give me a price quote!

 

speaking of hachi... not to jack this thread but... JDM engine swapping in hawaii... is that illegal? cuz my friend has a mkiii supra and he wants to drop a 1jz in it... but...his parents wont let him if its illegal...

 

As a matter of fact I do know someone whose selling actually two hachi's. His name is Hiro Matayoshi. Excellent condition, and low mileage too. The only thing is that he's from Okinawa, Japan. He's got his own independent used car lot called " Dream Run " sells GT-R 's, Silvia's, Supra's, RX-7's, Truenos, Chasers, Mark II's, and a few NSX's. I believed one Hachi TRD Sport priced at Y450,000 = $ 4,500! Not a bad buy. You just gonna have to deal with shipping, and actually flying over there to meet Mr:Matayoshi. Good luck...Mang!

 

you want a hachi go to AZN Racing, they can order you a hachi straight from japan if you want, if not that have plenty of US hachi's for a good price

there located in Vallejo and i dunno if they have a site, all i know is that they do almost every hachi out there and they have been featured in a few magz

plus my buddy used to work there so ya thats how i know this

 

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. but I'm actually looking for a local corolla. IF it was mainland and they sell for reasonable price. I'm looking to pay maybe about 3-5k for a hatchi. Less if possible. I just want a good enough looking one. even if it doesn't work, I can just put in a new motor and it'll be all good. but I don't want some smashed of POS. or a badly bent frame. It's not gonna be for drifting. I just REALLY like this car. Hehehe if you guys know anyone and if anyone can hook me please let me know THANKS!

I have a friend who owned 2 Hachis here in Hawaii. He is currently teaching English in Japan and will be back in about a month. If he still have the Hachis they might be on Kauai. I'll check to see if he still has them.

Bad news, my friend do still have the 2 Hachirokus, but he's using one for parts, and fixing the other one up as his project. He's not looking to sell either one. Sorry can't be of more help.
