hello

Hi guys I just bought a 04 used g35 coupe at the hummer dealership today. Anyway it's the dark grayish silver with the top secret bodykit (I think) and the 5zigen rims. I just wanted to know if anyone knew the previous owner of this car so I can find out exactly whats on it. My main concern right now is finding out what suspension he has on it. The dealer said it was tein coilovers but I highly doubt it because I couldn't see any spring perches. Anyway I had my doubt's about buying someone else's project but I got into a situation where I didn't have a choice. However, love the car feels way better then my eclipse ever did.

Congrats and welcome! I think that's the exact G that had most cusco/gt-spec suspensions.

wassup man. Saw your car at the dealership with beangrower the other day! Nice ride man! I believe the old owner of your car is the guy who is in Drift Apparel. (Kent) It was featured in an old xhift magazine a while back.
In fact, I have all the old Xhift mags. Here is what he had. I dunno if he took parts off before trading the car in.

Injen Race Division Intake
Aem Bypass filter
earch ground kit
greddy oil catch can
jdm brake cover
nismo oil and rad cap
pro 1 engine damper
custom dyed engine cover

cusco zero 2 Coilovers
Cusco sways
Gt spec lower arm bar kit
kintetix rear camber kit
kinetix traction adjustable arms

5zigen fno1rc wheels
recaro speed seats
takata 4 point harnesses
nardi steering wheel
drift apparel horn button
boss steering wheel adapter
l2 quick release hub
jdm door sills
custom nismo clock
jdm foot pedal covers

top secret fornt bumper, sides, rear
ings fenders
jdm clears
jdm trunk badges

clarion double din
jdm dd converision

This was from a shoot back in like January 2005 i believe. word for word from xhift mag.

hope this helps!

No Kent took off all those parts, like the suspension, I know... I took it off for him, he has drop springs on the car and there is no double din any more, no racing seats and racing steering wheel, his car is almost stock.

It's actually a good car yet, but you need to build the suspenion again.

yeah the suspension no offense but could have been a lot better imo. In fact the driver side rear wheel is almost basically sitting on the fender and i know is rubbing. I didn't pay 35 however i did pay 29 which was what i was going to pay for a stock g35 with 17k at King. Which leads me to my next question. What exact springs are on the car? All I know is on the rear it's blue. Also anyone selling some coilovers or springs with a better ride comfort.

Oh one more question is the clutch stock? Reason why I ask is because it feels a lot more stiffer then the 06 Z I test drove.

Hey. Out of curiosity, do you have the Ings fenders? A couple days ago I remember seeing a DG G pulling out of the dealership with a top secret front, ings fenders and fno1rc's. The thing is the road they were trying to get on was much higher than the driveway. The bumper was scraping and it looked like it was impossible for it to get on the road without breaking the bumper. Just wondering if that's your car.

yeah thats the one. The car is pretty low by my standards. Thank God that i haven't damaged the bumper or anything yet. I'm thinking about throwing in 350z tien H-techs on them. Any input on how they will look or handle will be appreciated thanks.
