Safety Check

Anyone know a pretty lenient place to get a safety check here on Oahu? Mine is up this month...

just keep going to places and you'll find somewhere that'll hook you up.

When I got mine done they said you can +1 wheel size. So 20s should be ok since factory runs 19s.

Are safety stations even required to check those items? I thought that was recon responsibility only?

yes they check. if they see something fishy, they ask for recon. if no recon, no safety! so, if you got coilovers, just swap in the oem suspension, and put on the oem wheels if your G is '03 - '04.

It's a domino effect. If they see something changed with the suspension, they'll ask for recon.

haha...I almost didnt pass for saftey at my dad's shop. He said my exhaust is too loud, so I put on the silencer...and passed. I went over to their house for dinner, and when my dad came home...he saw that my silencer was off.
