vdc acting up

Well the story goes as such. Coming down the pali kaneohe bound and i was taking the left turn right after the tunnel probably going 55 or so. Suddenly the slip light starts flashing and the car felt like it hit a wall or something. It became very jerky and a horriable noise came from the rear. Once I straightened out it was all good. Anyone else experience this?

How the condition of your tires?

My VDC would activate at 40mph on a loop but I had just put on new tires so it was still a little greasy. VDC can make a duh duh duh duh duh sound (with vibration) while it tries to straighten you out.

well actually i did both. In the same day I threw on one new rear tire, due to the threads showing and took out the "blue" springs for some tein s-techs. But that was like 2 or 3 weeks ago.

hmm that sounds like the problem i have except my VDC just turns off and the slip light comes on and never goes away until I turn off the car. It's probably because of alignment. My car is unaligned and it slips all over the place

you should always replace 2 tires instead of one. you can crash.

^^^
yup! the two different sizes on the rear is causing the speed sensor to act up. bad enough that the car has to regulate brake feedback between the front and rear rotation speeds...not there's a bigger variable being put in.
