getting recon...help!

getting recon, I have s-tech's with 20's. I called them yesterday and they said with my mods all I would need to do is get eveything aligned and bring it down. I was just gonna buy one of those cheap rear camber kits on ebay. but what about the front? do I even need to buy a kit or is the stock stuff adjustable enough with my drop. I called island brake and alignment and they "don't know." just thought i'd ask here because I don't feel like paying somebody money to tell me if I need it or not. and if I do need a front camber kit, what's the cheapest route/brand?

thanks,
brock

the only way to tell if it can be brought back to specs is to take it in. everycar seems to be different. you're gonna need an up to date alignment paper anyway. make sure you don't have the clear bumper lens. also, you need to strip your tint if you got 5%.

if the front camber is out of specs, then you will need aftermarket a-arms to adjust the camber... the stock a-arms has no camber adjustment at all... cheapest would probably be kinetix which is about $350-$400.

yeah, I know I needed an up to date alignment sheet. but I don't wanna pay the alignment fee twice, since it's a $90 flat fee. I guess i'll just pick up the rear kit and take it down. hopefully the front can be brought back to specs.

thanks for the reminder, I just stripped all my tint but can anyone lend me their stock amber bumper lights? thanks in advance!

when i went in for my alignment, (tech s-tech 350z) they didn't give me the paper, because the front could be brought back into specs.

if the front could be brought back in specs wouldn't you need an alignment sheet (paper) to prove it, for recon purposes? I don't think the recon station is just going to take my word that it's in specs.

where did you get your alignment done? price?

I been lucky so far. No front plate, clear corners, wheels and body kit. No recon ticket yet. For living in Waikiki, I'm still suprised that I haven't gotten pulled over yet. Think the cops are busy pulling over these moron tourist drivers who can't seem to obey traffic signs
