I got my sideskirts and rear from that guy...do NOT buy from him. The fitment was terrible and they gave me the run around for months when I tried to return the impul replica wing that did not fit at all. Finally when I threatened to show the pictures on all these forums and file a complaint did he say i could have a full refund. After i shipped it back though they said I would be charged a 20% restocking fee because "it fits fine over here." After another month they finally gave me back 90% of the price (and none of the shipping of course). That took about 3 months from when I received the parts which also took a month longer to arrive from when I was told I would get them. The sides and the rear which I had to keep since shipping it back would cost too much fit so horrible that with all the body work on the pieces to make them look good, the price of prepping and installing them is going to be around 2grand. The sideskirts which they said could use the stock clips to install could not be without drilling into my car so I had to go to the impul showroom in Japan when I went on my trip to buy their sideskirt clips instead. So yeah...don't buy from that guy....

Can I see some pictures, How was the fitment on the Kurumaz?

sen_jen Oct 25, 2006 10:01 PM

^ i worked on his car G35maniacG35.....the kuruma z's fitment was pretty good. just minor shortages, and warps. nothing a normal, "oh wow nice car" dude/dudette would see. you can tell it wasn't made to oem specs though.

On a side note though. Replica kits maybe cheap and yeah some might fit ok, but what I notice from replica kits to the real deals is the quality and durablity. I'll admit I am a careless driver at times and gave a love tap to the stupid parking curb. It made such a horrible noise that I didn't even want to get out of the car. Well went outside and nothing, but a small nick. If it was a replica kit like the ones I had on my eclipse for sure that would have cracked.

I can back that up... I had a ABS kit before, and when you bend it just a "tad", it will crack, and it's permanent. Versus the real deal kits that cost a little more. It can actually take a stronger contact against something, and all it will do is stratch or nick. Very fixable, and flexable! and therefore, very worth the price. Polyeurathane (spell check) is what the legit kis are usually constructed of, and plastic replica's are way more affordable, but there's no room for any driving errors.
