yah...there was only luis' and ward's car in the show. There was supposed to be more cars in the showroom but there was a number of them that flaked out. I think there were 5 no-shows. If I knew the werent going to show up by a certain time, we wouldve arranged the cars differently. I was too busy to even introduce myself to Luis.
My favorite car in the show was the M7 Mini, the owner was a superlap regular. Since last meeting him, he had done some pretty extensive mods to the car. He had the car run it's stock SC and a turbokit and built engine for a little while and it was making close to 500whp. But ran into heatsoak problems and just went with the turbo and makes about 400whp. The car has a very well balanced chassis. Some kind of Mini-specific tuners flew down to help with the build of the engine and chassis, to make the car what it is. That car would easily be faster and quicker around track than Ward's G35.
My second favorite car was wright behind him, the E46 M3. Just the car itself, in oem form is nice enough for me. Not too mention the owner had some nice Brembo monoblock brakes and HRE rims. Not a fan of HRE rims, but still made the car nice to look at.
My 3rd favorite car of the show was that C5 corvette with the 1953 conversion kit. VERY classy, and VERY different. If corvette went retro, that would be pretty much what I would expect.

yah, heard about Wards mini. Anything wards touches, kinda turns into some kind of mechanical freak. I never saw Ward at the show, just Seth. The owner of the Mini told me about Wards mini and not one other, but 2 other mini's that car SC'd and TC'd. Dont know if any of them broke the 500whp benchmark.
