Don't wait. When something like this happens call someone at the site immediately so it can be documented. If it's after the fact it tends to look more like someone gets the bright idea to bilk the company. I hate seeing how messed up my front bumper looks with all the rock chips. This past week I had a whole bunch of cement oversprays from the construction site across the street when they were lifting the cement bucket with the crane, had to check my car every hour to wipe off the cement before they eat into the paint. If any more gets on my car I'm gonna send them my carwash receipt for reimbursements.
