GTR Japanese magazine article

Hey guys, posted this in the rumors section but thought some of you might like to read this. Some of these things may be subject to change since the car isnt finalized but the main points such as the engine are SUPPOSED to be accurate.
According to this magazine the new GTR will use a twin turbo 3700cc version of the VQ engine putting out 450lbs of horse power. It will come in 6 spd manual. Double wishbone suspension in front with multi link suspesion in back although there are rumored to be two different models(at least in japan) one more geared toward luxury that would share the same suspension with the upcoming g35 coupe and a performance model. It will also be equipped with brembo brakes and 20 inch rims. The car will have a width of 192 cm(not sure about length). The highest point of the car will be at the windshield for aerodynamic purposes. The front will actually share some styling similarities with the 2008 g35 coupe around the headlight area but the rear will be completely different. That's pretty much all I was able to gather from the article. Oh and this wasn't in the article but in one of Japan's biggest newspapers there was a poll on car of the year which anyone from the public could send in their favorite car and the new 2007 Skyline(G35) Sedan came in first.

Impressive power indeed, but how much would this car cost out the door of the dealership here on O'ahu? I'm hoping it's not more than $60,000!

GTR..........nice

Every time you hear anything the price seems to go higher $65K to almost
$80 in the last article. Nissan priced themselves out of business with the
300ZX in the late '90s I hope this doesn't happen here.

^^^Agreed. I'd hate to see the Japanese performance car market die like it did in the mid 90's when they overpriced everything.
