My understanding with most aftermarket bumpers, the reinforcement bar has got to go. I wouldn't doubt that mines was taken off

ok I just took a look at mines. Never seen what a stock bumper looks like on the inside, but I have no reinforcement bars, the driver side vent is where my intake filter is, and the passenger side vent, has a black box looking thing. I couldn't see no air vents, so I'm assuming that they were taken out as well. Oh on another note where is your friend getting his painted at? I wanted to repaint my fenders, and bumper to match better but he said I'd have to paint the doors and the rear quarter panel to match it good.

It was one of sean's friend from munky wurks. For some reason alot of the IP g that get their car painted by color code, the paint comes out really white. it looks like it needs more yellow in it or ssomething. I don't have pics but We didn't have to take the whole reinforcement bar off, what about for a greddy bumper do you need to take the reinforcement bar off for a greddy bumper?

My greddy bumper just came in and im getting it painted right now hehehehe hope it turns out good. Next to wait for my anxceltion rear bumper.

OH! btw, my friend works with carbon fiber and he is going to do a carbon fiber grill for me, I'll let you guys know how the fitment is and if it's good then he will be willing to do a group buy. I'll update you guys with more info later. It's going to be a replica gialla grill in carbon fiber.

removal of the bar is supposed to be done. no recon/safety check will be a result. no?

^^No recon thats for sure and as for safety i don't think they would take the time to look for that but everything else like lighting, tires, horn, and if you got rims and/or drop they look for recon.
