Just because he dropped $30k into the car, it doesn't mean the buyer is getting an NSX for $5k plus $30k in mods. You can't look at it like that. Sinking money into a depreciating object will always result in you losing more money unless the buyer has the same taste as you. Honestly, money spent on mods might as well be considered lost whenever you sell a modded car. The buyer is assuming a lot of responsibility with regards to reliability, and modded cars are always a big questions mark no matter how well they're cared for. I know your friend is looking to sell yesterday, but if that's the case he needs to get his koko checked and either drop the price a bit more, or be a little more patient. Either that or he needs to part out his car and then sell the NSX on its own. Quite frankly, that's the ONLY way he'll make most of his money back which he spent on mods. If he cant do it because of time constraints, he'll lose out.
