Kaka'ako Mini-Shoot - Mar. 30, 2008 - [ecphoto & nycityinsomniac]

just to start this off i'd like to say i need to find better locations and shoot in better lighting... but thanks guys for coming out and letting me practice some new techniques. i have work on editing, but i am really having fun learning the HDR technique mentioned in Cal's thread. I don't have a program to do it for me yet, so I'll have to do the best I can with what I've got.

something to chew on for now...

Wow gotta say not the best lighting or location for pics, I gotta blame my self for not having the sharpest pics. Didn't use my tripod but i did my best...

Kakaako is a s**tty place to shoot which is why I never go yesterday. There's one ok spot in front of the fence (to the right when you enter the lot from the main entrance) right next to the dumpster. You can catch the buildings in the BG but the fence is a bit tacky looking. Gotta dodge the dumpster too but if the spot is probably the best one there IMO. Still, I hate shooting there because of all the light poles and the civilians. Hahaha. I know some mean spots. Maybe hit em up in the future. Nice shots though. Cheeeee.
