WTB: ALARM WITH REMOTE START and TINT

just wondering what kind of alarm everyone get and what is good on the market. anyone got any hookups? and how much will it probably cost me? thanks for the advice.

oh someone quoted me $150 for ceramic tint. is that good price? don't know much about ceramic.

spent about 500 on an alarm at mobile car audio. 2 way w/ window up & down... no remote start. forgot what model, but its a clifford alarm.

not sure, but i believe i also spent somewhere around 400 or 500 for huper optik tint at als.

probably could've gotten a little better price if i shopped around on the alarm, but i think i paid the normal for the type of tint i got. searching on the forums als was highly recommended by some of the guys here. so it all depends on what you're willing to spend.

yeah ceramic is expensive its really good with heat reduction. i just got my widows tinted on hickam there ultra performance hp for like 360

as for car alarm remote stat system i have been a huge fan of http://www.compustar.com/ alarms they are pretty expansive but they do alot and the remote start and pager works form over a mile away.

more than likely what ill get in the g once i get back from my deployment. and it has a failsafe for us MT guys.

ceramic tint is overrated in my opinion...slightly better than any other type but not worth the cost...imo

always watch out for low pricing...you will usually get what you pay for! saving a hundred or two isn't worth damaging your panels or windows.

i do tinting, i can do ultra performance (ceramic) for a good price pm me if you need anything...i do good work, you won't be disappointed. but you can always go pay more at a shop if you want to.

I got the Clifford matrix 50.5X In My G. It's the Remote start and paging system. Top of the Line Clifford or Viper, both the same. So far so good. The alarm pages me anytime a sensor goes off! you can set the sensitivity. But otherwise it's been good to me so far! But if you park in a structure or covered building. the Paging system may not work to well, too much Interference I guess. I got mine at Elite Car Stereo in Pearl City, where the Old Redline Auto Store was at. I know One of the head Installers There. A Good friend of mine. let me know if you want, I can try hook you up!

not too sure i think its normally like 400 or so for the alarm and the another 400 if you get the full pro alarm with remote start. but import tuner have said nothing but great things about this alarm. yeah not so sure about the parking garage probably not as good. but still a great system.
