When you say design, do you mean design idea like mine (ex. y pipe with flex fittings, to a single exhaust exiting on the left side of the bumper ) or do you mean pre-existing design that can be remade?

Also, why put nismo on a replica part and not kakumei? It is their brand right?

^^^ good questio on the nismo... i guess some people would rather buy a product if it has that certain "name" on it. i will ask him to start making kakumei badges and see if we can promote the product more... thanks for the insite.
on the topic of design... he is open to anything... what i meant with design is if you have a sample or picture of the product (which is either made already or stock) he can fabricate to your request... the only thing is it has to be within a standard and make sure that it fits...

Simple. It sells more knock offs. Come to think of it, I dunno what's worse. Ripping off someone else's design and putting the original manufacturer's name on it as if it were authentic. Or slapping your own name onto a product designed and engineered by someone else. Perhaps no badging?

isnt that some sort of copyright? Putting their name on a product you made? and wouldnt you copying their design be infringing on patents if there are any on the product he is copying?

Of course it is a copyright issue, but then again knock off and replica parts are always like that by nature anyway. Otherwise they would be originals.

aint nothing wrong with knock off items, my diffuser is made by ravspec but its a nismo diffuser. nismo doesnt make it anymore. i think as long as the people who make the products have a good reputation for quality. but i wouldnt go around saying i have a nismo diffuser, i just have a ravspec CF diffuser. i think people put the original names because its easier to understand what it looks like without pictures. if i say Replica TS Carbon Fiber Hood you understand what the hood looks like, even without pictures. just adding my 2 cents on some questions/statements.
