Cool post for the info, but i'd watch out with giving information publicly about places which do illegal safety check inspections... I know on forumshawaii, there are people who report that kind of stuff, and get the s/c guys in trouble.

I know there are a few officers on this board too, though I don't know how they would stand on this issue.

 

Yeah I hardly post up on here and don't know of any other officers on this forum but just to be safe I would keep that info through PM's only. Too many people out there that want to get hooked up but when they get busted they can't take the heat on there own and dime out the safety check guy that helped them out. Kinda like biting the hand that feeds you if you know what I mean.

Coilovers are automatic fail.

 

Not quite, but it is a lot harder with coilovers... When I went a few years ago, I got through ok, but I've heard of others getting the " suspension travel test " and failing because the coils were too stiff...

 

people have been telling me that they are being reasonable with coilovers now. ill let u guys know if i pass. haha

Congrats! Did you have the blacked out clear corners during inspection? What type of camber kits do you have with the tein flex? What other mods do you have besides what's in your sig? Thanks in advance - and sorry for all the questions.

 

Bringing this thread back my safety check expires tomorrow I tried a couple places failed me for clear corners and my bracket is in the middle does anyone have spare amber corners I can borrow and where to get the metal bracket

 

I think I have spare amber corners. Just gotta look for them. Let me know if you can't find any. Which reminds me I need safety too next month dammit.
