Is it the headlight cover thats getting hazy?
I think 3M makes a kit that has a little buffer that you attach to a drill and buff it out.
Also, check out PakShak auto detailing supply off of Sand Island Road. Talk to the owner Ramney, he has all kinds of good products and advice. I believe he has some stuff that can get your lenses looking new again.

^+2 for Ranney. I wrote this in another thread a little bit ago:

I personally have found a lot of good results with the Meguiar's professional grade plastic cleaners and polishes... I use the following:

#17 - Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner 8oz.
#10 - Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish 8oz.

I also like to top it off with Zaino sealants (i.e. Z2Pro or ZCS). Hope this helps. I purchase from my friend's online shop:

I've always had good results with 3m plastic polish (from napa, walmart, etc.) if not I've also used meguiars plastic polishes, ( the 2 bottles with plastic cleaner, and polish. and the single bottle of plastic polish ) both brands worked very well. Buffing them out by hand is pretty easy but if you have a small buffer it'll help you avoid arthritis.

I did my own and it came out great. I used meguires scratchx then a cleaner wax like zymol then use the meguires plastic polish. then maintain it with plexus. Its how I would clean my face shield for my helmets.

I bought a $100 drill/buffer with 2pads (later returned buffer hehe)
1. washed my headlights
2. water sanded with 2000 grit sand paper ($3).(which left lots of scratches. later returned lol
3. washed it down again.
4. applied Meguiars ScratchX ($8), spread it over the light and let sit for a min. later returned lol
5. Buffed it out.
6. Applied Meguiars PlastiX (6-7$) later returned lol
7. Buffed it out. Reapplied Plastix, and buffed it again.
8. Wiped with miscrofiber towel ($1)
Looks great. If you really look closely you may see 2-3 minor scratches, but all that can be taken care of with a longer sanding and buffing. BECAREFUL not to buff non-stop. Buff for like 20-30 sec, stop for same, then go again. Since they produce heat, you may damage the light. Also, set buffer to 1k-1800prm.
TOTAL COST FOR ALMOST NEW HEADLIGHTS, ABOUT $15 + 1 hour of work.

+1 on meguires plastix cleaner. For a cost effective alternative, try that first.
