Sadly but true, the lsx with tranny is lighter by around 30/50 pounds. i had the paper but cant find them right now. handleling will not change. just driver being able to control the car lol. it will handle better than the camaros that have the same engine on them.

update: custom headers and intake purchased, a way to let go of 1600 on just that ouchhhhhh!!!

The question is can the tranny handle all that torque?

But imagine if you got cheap shiiiittt, you know you like that expensive shiiitt. haha

What you planning on doing, running timing chain, gears, or belt? gonna go all out with the heads, cam, and lifters?

yup, just purchased the custom oil pan, clutch and aluminum flywheel and 2 walbro fuel pump. thinkn if i should put cams before the engine goes in. now i just gotta start routing fuel lines. Think of running another Super Charger or Nitrous on the LSX... any opinions?

Seems like the easiest thing to do would be to run aftermarket gauges. I believe that will make this swap way easier and less expensive. There is a guy on LS1tech doing a 5.3 swap into a 350Z that is using stock GTO motor mounts and plans on fabbing up a bracket and making them work. From there the most expensive items would be the oil pan and headers.
