My New project

Picked this car up for $500
it's a 1999 Accord EX. My Dad was offered to buy this car but didnt have the cash so he asked me to think about getting it since I was in the market to buy a Sedan. At first I was like, eh because I was looking to trade in my truck for an M37, but my Dad rest assured me that it was in great mechanical condition, being he's a Honda Tech, his word is gold and quickly realized that it would be nice to not be paying for anything for another 5yrs...then he told me it needed the windshield and rear glass replaced So I got quoted to replace the glass at safelite for a little over $500, sounds good! and picked it up.

It only has 47k, A/C blows cold, tires are still pretty good..still unsure of the brakes but got a brake upgrade in mind with larger front rotors, the transmission needs some getting used to...the throw is so long compared to the G35's. Drives alright, though it needs to have the suspension tightened up. Exterior needs some TLC, the paints been oxidized - nothing a high speed buffer cant handle, there's some damage to the trunk from whomever did damage to the car and, there are a couple of minor dents that can be easily massaged out, Interior is super clean other than the glass particles.

The Glass is going to be replaced some time next week, I just need to find a day where I can take a day off and have the safelite guy come to the house. And already I have some things on the way...gonna go old school on this one and go straight up neuspeed starting with neuspeed/koni shocks and springs and a shift linkage adapter to cut the shifter throw. When I sell the truck, gonna buy some decent rims...something like MB Weapons, I don't want to jump on the Rota bandwagon. I cant get too nuts on this car, because it's meant for my kids comfort...the G35 is pushing it.

Thanks, it's more like a restoration project than a power build. Though I found some deals on F20B's on the EuroR and H22A. Turbonetics makes a nice simple turbo setup for the F23, just needs something like Hondata to get things moving. But that's like way later.
