do you run resonated on stock exhaust? I am looking at FI resonated test pipes w/stock exhaust. I think that would be the better route than having a cat-back exhaust. For sound and performance. I don't want to be to loud but also not to quiet. The stock rumble is very nice but just a lil bit to low. So I hope that the FI will help amplify that.

not trying to be a dik but do a search and im sure you'll come up with something.. i know ive stumbled upon many reviews. just simply do a search..

many u dont understand my sig but i have ichiba test pipes.. they are ok.. their design isnt the greatest as they have the 02 sensor bung welded on a little low so the 02 sensor kinda points toward the ground at an angle..

difference? 100whp!!! maybe it was just butt dyno but i also did my ypipe at the same time too.

Test pipes + stock exhaust will never be better than a cat-back exhaust, performance-wise. Sound-wise won't be much better, either -- it will sound louder for sure, but also very raspy; just YouTube it. I had Berk HFC's with stock exhaust before I picked up my HKS exhaust.. sounded good, but definitely a little rasp to it; having test pipes, even if they're resonated, will amplify that effect.

LOL. x10000

100 whp? Please, dyno to prove it. At most, you would have gotten 5hp, and even that is pushing it without a tune. Loud =/= faster.

it was a joke...

i doubt anyone is dumb enough to claim 100whp with test pipes.. or am i wrong?

Well my reasoning is the first upgrades (other than the Ztube and amsoil air filter) I will do is the 5/16" spacer and some FI resonated test pipes. Those are the 2 real bottle necks in the car from what I have been reading. Down the road once I save up I will then buy the cat-back exhaust. But I think that the test pipes would be a better buy than the cat-back exhaust performance and price wise. I have read in many places that a cat-back exhaust really does not gain that much hp or tq, its mainly for the sound. I have heard it helps with throttle response and few others little things. Correct me if I am wrong here, I'm just a newbie here (with this car). I do my research on my big purchases like these before I buy.

Also Myroncuz, your sig is a lil bit complicated to us new guys. For the amatures and pro's they probably understand them all. But for me its a lil greek, but I'm catching on and I'm a very fast learner. I can understand half of it lol.

each mod by itself is not really great. but each of these mods supports each other and with a good tune itll pull it together.

Yeah i have to Agree I would sugest to just save up for your exhaust a cat back True duel exhaust will be way better and you wont regret it.

I got my JWT pop charger ztube and Borla TD cat back I drove it around for abit and felt it lacked a bit so i had the mid pipe resonators cut out and love it!

its not too loud with normal driving but when you go it sounds pretty mean. and feels better through out the whole RPM range. before with the resonators it seam to drop off at 3k rpms
