bodyshops - ever been to...

couple days ago, some punk a$$ put a nice big love tap into my driver's side rear quarter panel while I was parked at Kapolei Shopping Center. no note, no witnesses, so its just me and my deductable on this one. in any event, my ins (AIG) recommends I go to one of the following places:

Aiea Collision Center
Central Body and Paint
El's Auto Body and Paint
United Auto Body Repair
Nuuanu Auto Company
Auto Tech
C&H Body and Fender
Unibodytech Auto Collision Repair System
Classic Bodyworks
Oka's Autobody

Anybody have experience (good or bad) with any of the above? I realize there are numerous other places, but my ins may not cover someplace else. Thanks.

I've used El's twice in the past they did really good work, took a little longer then they siad it would and their loaner was a POC, but I would recommend them. They did a really good job, especially with the paint matching...even got the factory orange peel to match, couldn't tell it was repainted.

I went to Central after my accident and I think they did a good job. Paint looks great (TB), no strange rattles or problems. May I ask what problems you had, eastbound, in case I needed to use them again? Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I head that Central was decent too.

Eastbound,
What exactly was your problem with them? Bad bodywork? Bad Paint? Bad color match?

I heard good things about Central as well. But then again it's like tint shops; the worker is more important the company. However you would want a long time, reputable company; at least that way their guarantee is worth something. At least Central's been around for awhile...
