To all,
We have noticed that there has been very few if any interest in having the February Luncheon. Let alone a simple reply. Please be aware that this event has to be prepaid in advance and the deposits have to be either cancelled or solidified. Many of the planning team has put up their own monies to secure this event. As a simple common courtesy, a simple/easy reply of a simple yes or no can be and should have been sent to Dawn (who originally sent the e-vites). There is really no excuse on why an answer can’t be sent to her at this point in time. Even if it was due to a work schedule, either you wanted to go and submitted a request for a day off or was not interested and choose not to attend. Either way…an answer should have been submitted. The event is scheduled for the 27th and the RSVP date is to be the 11th…that is next week Friday already. As civil as I am trying to be in this announcement, I can not hide my frustration in the lack of courtesy amongst ourselves in being able to give a simple answer of yes or no….even in this age of technology which is supposed to make communication A LOT SIMPLER and more EFFECTIVE.
Most of us are adults…and I expect that we should conduct ourselves as such assuming that we ourselves expect to have the treatment and respect that accompanies that “title” of adult. Therefore since all that we are asking for is a little common courtesy, please respond to your e-mails, if it were not important, we would not have sent them out. Events that are planned and organized are in part from requests sent in by “you” and we take time out of our lives and do this for free. Time, blood, sweat, and tears, are all done for the benefit of the group…NOT for ourselves or personal glory.
I apologize for the tone of this e-mail, yet, for all of the planning that we have done this year, and all of the requests, invites, and the such that we sent out, there were very few if any responses. It is very difficult to plan and forecast anything like this. When any and each of you are planning an outing,…a party,…a wedding,…a date,…an appointment,… ANYTHING…..all that you want in return is an answer,…..correct? Whether it be from a friend, a girlfriend or boyfriend, a husband or wife, or from a company….all that you need to make the planning, is an answer. That is all that we are asking for as well. You want the respect and courtesy of someone answering your questions, and calls,…..so do we. We need those answers to plan accordingly, make the correct orders, not to not waste our precious time and money as well.
I can not emphasize enough on the importance of communication amongst ourselves. We can not be cohesive or remotely organized without having a two way communication pathway.
Please answer your e-mails, in one way or another, so that we can at least make the correct plans and decisions for your benefit.
If you did not get an e-vite, click on the reply tab of this e-mail and send a message to peri06.
