Were human too...

I've been reading alot of post here and on other forums about police officer about how they are a$$holes and such.. But just remember that we are humans too. In the past months I have seen alot of thing that have really affected me and had me stop and think about my career and life and these things take a toll on you. I hate to say it but makes you numb to the world around you and sometimes that make you look differently upon the community you serve.
I know there are some bad apples out there but don't judge us all....

These comments are not directed at the people of this forum its something I had to get off my chest. I know there are alot of freinds and people here that can keep and open mind about this. Just maybe, if the situation comes up, that you understand where the officer is coming from.

Sorry for venting..

If you see me around stop by and say hello....

Hey... I'll start it off to say SORRY for everyone else up in here... I know that we all say that we don't like cops only because of the situations where they get on our case about not obeying the laws such as dark tint, no front plates, and here in Hawaii, no recon... If you don't like the COPS bothering you about those things.. then why do it in the first place... I know COPS are just doing their jobs... so **** if you can't handle getting hassle then leave your damn car the way it is... Because you all know that when someone steals your **** and someone is doing something you don't like... Who do we all turn to and call first... The COPS right... So you guys shouldn't Hate... I know honestly I can say that I said that I don't like cops only because I use to get hassled all the time... but that was only because I didn't understand that when I touch something on my car and didn't get all the necessary paper work that it was all my fault and I'm taking the risk... So G35Five_0 never think twice about what you love to do just because there are a few cry babies out there... There are way more out there that have much respect for your line of job....

yeah, i agree. when those who choose to do things illegal, there are consequences. my dad, also an officer, was on my case when i tinted my car. but, i'll just have to deal with the consequences. he just told me not to be disrespectful and maybe i'll just get a warning or 1 ticket and not every little thing that is illegal on my car.

on a side note, my dad is liking the g35 at this moment. he's really considering getting the sedan when the "years" run out on his current "motor" vechicle.

Very geez (good) to hear this man. I totally agree with you. I believe you about "bad apples" being out there. The way I see it is it's just apart of society. You'll always have good and bad regardless.

I'd want to send my applogies to you if you've felt offended by my words or actions. I totally understand where you, as well as other officers come from . Honestly, I've got many friends in the Dept. I've got friends and relatives who are officers in states where its just too crazy as well. I appreciate the fact that you're not just "doing your job," but you actually care. It's just good to know we have someone we can trust.

So, where the hell are you these days anway! ? I always used to see you out and about. The last time I've seen you was west bound passing Waikele! Where you at? I'll definately acknowledge you. I have to admit, I think you scared the crap out of me when I heard you came to the loop! No biggie, we're G enthusiasts!

Sorry 1nce again if I've been cruel.

a big Hello to you
Please don't let some stupid comment from someone affect you . I realize it must be difficult sometimes, but there are a lot more people around that appreciate the jobs and service that our police services do for us.

I gotta agree with JB. There are those certain few who make life difficult. Those are the ones tryin to run away from the law most of the time.

By all means, you have one of the toughest jobs. Im a son of a retired HPD officer and have close ties to other officers. We must remember that these guys put their lives on the line when trouble calls. Theyre willing to risk their lives and protect our communities.

Nothing wrong with venting 50!!!
