question about overlays
question about overlays
Does anyone know what the hawaii laws are regarding smoked overlays such as bats (www.bluebatmobile.com) and clear side markers? tia =)
I think just as long as it doesn't cover the actual headlight... we'll be fine... the overlays just to make the headlight housing look black should be fine... maybe G35Five_0 can school us on this topic...
If its not stock you can find something under recon to hit you with... These type of thing will affect your renewing your Safety or trying to get recon. Its all about who you get and how hard they check everything. It a hit or miss kind of deal.
Remember the G grabs attention by itself adding things just increases it.....

i think as long as the back reflects red and the front has no obstruction of the headlight, should be all G. But I wouldn't recommend to modify it anyways... not worth getting pulled over for shtuff like that.
The recon law is a cover all type of law. If its not directly covered under a certain law then the recon law can be used. This basicly means, if its not stock its a violation. So, you can take your chances. An officer can pull you over and tag you for these things. Now you will have to go to court and you may get it thrown out and then it might not. It's a roll of the dice.
It's just a hassle to take the day off and go to court for every ticket you get....
Hey, you may never get stopped for some aftermarket.
