Nah, it wasn't me. Out of my area. But the blue vehicle they are talking about is me. Only blue one in the fleet.
I can remember getting pulled over on the way home from my Prom...

Someone noticed the 18's.

if i'm not mistaken (G35Five-O, correct me if i'm wrong) cops as of now can only get the 2003 G35 sedan (260hp) and can't get the coupe (supposedly 'cuz the trunk's too small for all their equipment, etc.). but i hear there's a high ranking ofcr who badly wants the '05 sedan (not sure if it's the 6MT, tho). but hey, at least there's a cop driving a white '04 (?) Avalon - man, hate to call out that cop!

Your correct that only the 03 are approved.. But papers are in the process to get the 05's approved..I can only hope and wish..
As far as the coupes there was some other things that did not qualify it.. If the Sedan is approved again maybe I can try getting the Coupe approved...

^ a cop riding around in a '05 Coupe? Noo!!! nah nah, j/k. you know how intimidating that would be, a cop on your a$$ in a coupe w/ the blue lights flashing? Nah, seriously, tho, are they considering both 5A and 6MT '05 sedan models, or just the 5A? i don't understand why only the '03 was approved, since the '04 is pretty much the same, engineering wise, but then again i'm not a cop. anyways, i'm wondering if they'll approve the '06 Avalon (3.5L 280hp V6) or the '05 Mustang GT, since so many cops already have the last gen.

Theres a committee that approves the vehicles that fit the needs of the radios and other equipment. At this time the list is not yet complete for the 05's. As for the Avolon and Mustang I don't know if they will be approved.
On the latest list there were no restrictions on the Auto or manual..

Can't wait to see the updates on the list.

hey G35Five_O, here's a stupid question. what if you're a cop and you have like a really nice car (let's say you got an '06 M45 sport, prem pkg). if you use that as your cop car, and you go to a scene or whatevers, and they don't have any patrol cars (the crown vics, etc.), do you have to use yours to take away the thugs? what if they're like really dirty and smell pretty bad? can you just "wait" until backup arrives? just wondering about this cuz some cops have some really nice cars. also wondering if any "green" (as in environmentally friendly) cops would be driving around in them Priuses... haha, but then again gas adds up!

No you don't put them in the motorized vehicle. You just wait for a blue and white. If there is none available someone could go to the station and pick one up.
Another reason is that the motorized vehicles are not equiped to make a transport.
Motorized vehicles are the the officers personal vehicles.

*push*
*wait*
*wait*
*wait*
*oh can you dust your feet off*
*wait*
put the thug in the back
*push button*

haha! would suck if that thug ended up dinging your door cuz he slammed it open too fast! the committee probably already thought of that when they were looking at the coupe!
