Unhappy A/C problem

Something is messed up with the car. Just visited IoH service today and talked with Jason T. The car has been in service for about two weeks now because of a problem with the A/C. I thought it would be a quick fix but I guess not. The problem is that my center display will not turn on when the car has been left out in the sun. So that leaves me in a hot car w/ no AC The techs feel there is a short, somewhere in the wiring but can't pinpoint it.
A friend of mine told me that if the car has been in service for more than 30 days, I can take advantage of the lemon law.
Has anyone here ever turned in a lemon back to the dealership? I love the car I have now, I'm just planning on the worst case scenario.

Seems like its a faulty switch. I had something similar happen to my old 5at sedan, where my AC WOULDNT shut off. It was on full blast and at 60 degrees...but thats not the only problem I had. I couldnt shift the car into reverse and would have to press on the brakes hard to shift into reverse. Literally stomping on the brakes!!! All this was due to a faulty brake switch sensor which was replaced. I think there is a line that runs parallel to the ac switch. I could be wrong...but the problem was fixed eventually.

It's all good now, got the car back on wednesday. Turns out it was a short in the wiring, which was a bitch for the techs to find. They were really apologetic that they held the car for so long, so I got no ill temper towards the service dept. Actually the service at IoH has been the best out of all dealers I have dealt with.
