Volks finally freakin' IN!!

After 4 months ...which seemed like a decade

I tried mounting the rear...and then I took it off. Had a freakin' 2 finger gap in the back!! I had like barely half a finger w/ my stockies, and now I have 2. Uh uh!! No he di'in't. Damn you stretched tires. hehe. Looks good though. Coilovers...here I come. Plus I gotta cut/roll fender and install my camber kit already.

SWEET looking rims..you can never go wrong with Volks

Now I'm feeling jealous because I'ts been two months now and I'm still waiting for mine.

Question for you, are those 30 or 35 series on the rears? I was worried about having a big gap also, since I'm going with a conservative drop (350Z H-techs). I was thinking, 35's will fill it up more.

yeah, if you're going with a conservative drop, you might as well go w/ 35's in the rear. I went with 30's. the stretch looks good but damn the gap. I might just try to hack the rear upper spring mount and see how much it lowers the rear.

ps ...good luck w/ the wait. I had all my coworkers and friends bashing me almost everyday about it...which made the wait seem even longer. .
Rims are nice. Worth the wait? ....aaaa....not really. Would I do it again....NOPE. ..but that's just me.

thanks.

went w/ the 19x9.5 high disk for the fronts w/ +19 offset
& the 19x10.5 low disk for the rears w/ +17 offset.

and yes, I will be rolling...if not, cutting my fenders to make these puppies fit. I test fitted the rear and if I drop it lower, the tire is gonna touch w/ the negative camber.

I think cuz minez is different brand tire in the front(fuzion zri). GOtta get coilovers now...fricken get almost 2 finger gap in the back.

haha, sounds like a plan. ...and maybe we can install our rear camber kit one day. you did buy rear camber kit right?

yeah, i'm pretty sure the girls are saying that. oh wait a minute, the last comment I got from a girl was..."oh, g35...sheesh, everybody get that car already." The fuzionz are pretty good so far. Pretty damn quiet... Never really pushed the tires yet. Still trying to get use to it. Kinda scared driving on bands.

yeah, good deals. only toe bolts. perfect, my friend is practically sponsored by snap-on! (white IS took 1st streetcar showoff). yeah, every girl i talk to says the same s.hit. makes me depressed a little! i'm still deciding on the GRB's (AA traction rating), the Fuzion's, or the ST's (A traction rating though). i don't really give a rip about treadwear because i've got a 280 treadwear rated tire now (T1s), and i've been on them over a year and it aint that bad. i use my car as a daily driver too. i always keep the turns in the 45+ mph range too. lol. i don't know anyone that has seriously bent an SF win, but other volks with 30's have happened a lot. i guess if you hit the pothole/dip/bump/etc the right way, it will hurt.

yaps... I have +24 in the rear... But I never had any problems with the VDC kickin' in... I don't know why... I think my car is retarded... maybe that's why I have slow times at tracks... Because I know I ain't that bad of a driver... C'mon... I made that RSX base model that I had for a month hit 15.2... when the guys with the typeS were around there also... stock now... I don't know... like I said... the @$$ draggin' cars like me... oh well...

As your the coils I have on mines... Sorry DTR... I haven't found the time to take them off... Maybe one day you can just come to the house and we can put them on yours right there... and you can get the GT-C also...=)...
