Just stopped by IOH today and the receptionist informed me that Richard's
no longer working there! Anyone know what happend? To bad, he was the
best.

 

yup, richard is no longer at IOH. his last day was on 8/4. he told me that he's going to try other things.

 

Wow, I stopped by on that day of August 4, he didn't mention anything about leaving IoH.

 

WHAT? That F'in sucks. I can't believe it. I thought he was like their best salesman and he was so passionate about their cars. So who can I trust now?

 

I was hoping all of the rumors were not true. Yeah I wonder how much this will affect sales.

 

the owner of IOH came from Honda Windward, and i believe RC is going there. not sure. i heard this on wednesday from the guys at Honda Windward.

 

Not bad for a change. Now maybe he can get you a good deal on that s2k you wanted.

From the horses mouth...no...RC is not going to Honda Windward. Sorry wont be able to get any "deals" from him quite yet.

 

^yeah, somehow i can't imagine him selling civics, ridgelines & accords - esp. that birth control-looking coupe lol.

 

RC came down to Drift Session in support of Steve-O and Niztech. I havent had a chance to really talk with him, our conversation was real brief. I had to get back to work right after I've seen him. However, he talked with my girlfriend just a little bit, and regarded that he was no longer with IoH, sad but, I seen in comming, I just didnt expect it so soon...but I'm sure he has something to keep him on his feet. Maybe he might get back into the aftermarket business, who knows? Maybe he'll start driving at the track more...I'd love to see him back out there other than spectating. Like sliding FX35's in the off-camber (RC I know you reading )

 

From what he told me, and this was a while back, 2-3 months ago when Rochelle left and the unveiling of the new M's, he was already thinking about leaving and wanted to keep it on the DL. However, he surprised me when I saw him at Bravo's a week ago, that he had already left and supposedly, Marty asked him if he would take over the Internet sales dept. RC kinda laughed and giggled about it, saying he would think it over. Its sad to see that most of the OG's left. I think it has to do with the new management.

 

Sorry to bring up this old thread but I was hoping I could get some input from some of you. I purchased my G35 from the dynamic duo Richard and Rochelle 2yrs ago but now that BOTH are no longer with IoH, who would you see if you were to purchase from the dealer again? Wish there was more than one Infiniti dealership here. Thanks in advance.
