Ishowoff stress...
Ishowoff stress...
Damn, thank god roll in for ishowoff is finally OVER! Especially because of what happened yesterday 4 hours before roll in.
I was getting my car ready to leave my place to go to roll in at 9:45. I got all of my cleaning products loaded in the back seat, and I just needed to get my speaker box in my trunk. It was around 6:30am, and I was not used to being up so early. with my eyes half closed and my body moving ever so sluggishly, I try to heave my box into my trunk, and all i hear is glass shattering and hitting the ground! I freakin' cracked my drivers side tail light.
Stressing out, I call IOH. Parts department was closed. I paniced and called Grubbs to see how much it would cost to over night me a tail light. $380 bux. I was like ...screw it. I'm just gonna run it in the show cracked.
Luckily, I called infinity on my drive in to the roll in, and they said they had it in stock! $280 dollars! I called my girl to see if she could pick it up for me and drop it off at the blaisdel on her break. Luckily she could.
So yes, that was a waste of $280 bux. I hard lesson learned, that could have been easily avoided. Thank god the stress is over. Now I can just go down there this weekend and enjoy the show!
