FS: project Miata (1990)
FS: project Miata (1990)
Preface: I'm selling my project autox Miata.
1990 Miata
white w/ tan top
5-speed, RWD
139,300 miles
Fixed crankshaft pulley problem, replaced radiator with brand new aluminum rad., changed oil, change fluids, changed ignition wires, timing belt done in 2003 (checked and it's still OK), have receipts.
Top is in good condition with no rips, window is good, needs paint, body is straight with no dents, dings, or scratches. The interior is nice considering it's a 1990. Seats are nice, no radio, gauge bezel needs to be replaced, and the driver window does not crank. Wind shield is in good condition, no cracks. No A/C. The car has a current safety check. Parts can be easily obtained at salvage yards or ebay.
Engine now runs super strong after fixing the crankshaft pulley problem (common with 1990 Miatas), I took the car up to 80 mph and it's stable and motor is still strong with a lot of pull.
SAVE GAS AND GET THIS CAR --- about 28 MPG.
Today (Saturday 9/10), the brake job is complete. Pacific Automotive did the work and we had to replace the front rotors with brand new ones. I spent $500 today on the Miata's brakes.
- Spent $140 for a new radiator last month
- Spent $200 for 1994 OEM Miata wheels and tires, and steering wheel, purchased last week
- Spent time with the motor (oil change, crankshaft bolt fix, new temp gauge)
Asking $1700; pics upon request.
Thanks for looking.
