So I came upon the sky...

And I just thought about possibilities
http://www.skyroadster.com/photopost/

It's rumored that a Sky Redline (is to Mazdaspeed Miata) will be in production 6 months after the launching in June 06. The Redline version is rumored to be turbocharged making over 250hp (crank?) estimating about 230 lbtq. Also weighing in less than 2900lbs curb weight. It's probably going to get over 20mpg. Looks a hell of a lot more aggressive than the Solstice (IMO).

Just sharing what intrigued my taste today.

It's a nice looking car for saturn... Very interesting...

I also belive that the Saturn Sky is built on the Lotus Elise platform so it's handling should be pretty good.

It's a far cry, it being related to the Lotus Elise. If anything, it's closely related to the Corvette in terms of the design and construction of the hydroformed frame.

Really damn brits...

I was watching a UK show that compared the Vauxhall and a Lotus Elise (same car different body & NA vs Turbo Engine). The host said that a version based on the Vauxhall should appear in the US as the Saturn Sky.

I seen that show, 5th gear. All I recall was the way the fram is being made and that the Solstice/Sly frame share the same construction methods as the Corvette, that Hydroforming process. Who knows though? All the cars nowdays share somekind of base ie. 350Z:G35, Saab Wagon:Subaru Wagon.
Between the Soltics and the Sky, I like the Sky more With the addition of the Redline version...more reason to go for the Sky.

I'd love to test drive the Sky on the track if given the oppurtunity.
