Bidpay

anyone here deal with Bidpay before??? i'm selling my vaio desktop and i have a buyer who wants to use bidpay who will send me a money order as soon as they receive a valid tracking number. i'm just a little worried cuz i've never dealt with it before.

any advice would be appreciated.

Shouldn't they pay you before you get a tracking number? I would be careful about this.

Its a scam, Don't ever send anything out without any payment recieved.

screw bidpay, that's the western union one right.... I got ripped off of $230 a couple of years ago and reversed the payment through my CC company and to this day they call me demanding money and sent a collection agency on my ***. use paypal or nothing.

Paypal's got some issues too (more so if you are the buyer than the seller).

yeah. i cancelled the deal. it was way too jenky. plus the guy's name didn't match his email address name. his email address was victoria_james@usa.com and his name on the fedex label was some weird Indian name.

so anyone want a vaio desktop (p3, 512ram, 60gigs, belkin a/b/g wireless card, Microsoft Office Professional 2003 with complete updates, norton antivirus and other media programs) for 750? i was sellin it for 850 on craigslist. had a few offers but all out of state. i'd prefer a local sale.

my mistake. the computer has a P4 processor at 2.4ghz

idk why i put p3 up there.

if it adds value, i have all the backup disks, and it comes with all the little things like the matching mouse & keyboard and the 15" uvga flatscreen monitor. i think it's a uvga at least....all i know is its damn bright and clear at any angle.
